For some time, I was content being a progressive victorian, and admiring the world whist remaining firm in my fixed positions. Then, a slight change overtook me. Perhaps it was reading D.H. Lawrence, that most progressive Edwardian, on my Kindle, a most progressive reading device. At any rate, I realized not only have I progressed beyond Victorian, I am modestly progressive, even for an Edwardian.
